I am a compassionate, creative and viscerally attuned therapist with twenty years of experience serving children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
A holistic therapist, integrating the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realms, I am a trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Embodied Gestalt Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
Psychology is the study of the soul. I believe that humans are souls in a body, referred to as the self. We are all self regulating in a Western World whose culture loses touch with the earth, the body, even the soul. Our minds are Western trained, but our bodies can heal from Eastern practices, such as yoga, mediation, and other energy techniques.
I take my passion for learning, reading, sharing, teaching and creating new stories into the therapy office. I use an embodied, relational, phenomenological, even paradoxical approach. Rather, my clients learn how and what influences their narrative or beliefs. In an open, curious and non-dualistic stance, they learn their process of responding to life’s problems.
